CALL TO ORDER – Vice Chair Levy called the meeting 7:00 P.M.9 10 Present: Vice Chair, Jason Levy; Commission Members: Donald Eaton and Charles11 Haldeman; Alternate Commission Members, Sue Brittell and Alison Wilcox; and12 Assistant Town Planner, Brittany MacGilpin.13 14 Absent: Chair, Margery Winters; Secretary, Joseph Campolieta; Commission15 Members: Jason Berman and Michael Luzietti.16 17 Seating of Alternate: Commissioner Brittell and Commissioner Wilcox were seated18 as regular members for tonight’s meeting.19 20 II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES21 22 August 4, 2026, Regular Meeting23 24 MOTION: Commissioner Haldeman made a motion, seconded by Commissioner25 Wilcox, to approve the Minutes of the August 4, 2026, Regular Meeting as written.26 27 The motion carried unanimously (5-0-0).28 29 III. CONSERVATION COMMISSION BUSINESS30 31 Referrals from the Zoning Commission32 33 ZC #26-18, An application of Dorset Crossing LLC, Owner, Dwight Merriam, Agent,34 pursuant to Section 8 of the Zoning Regulations for a zone change and amendment to35 the Master Development Plan to allow a car wash facility at 10 Dorset Crossing36 (Assessor’s Map Block Lot I04 403 13C-F), Planned Area Development (PAD) Zone.37 Page 2 of 2 Note: The Zoning Commission held a public hearing on this item and closed the public38 hearing on July 20, 2026.39 40 ZC 26-19, An application of Dorset Crossing LLC, Owner, Dwight Merriam, Agent,41 for a site plan approval to develop a 7,275 sq. ft. car wash facility at 10 Dorset Crossing42 (Assessor’s Map Block Lot I04 403 13C-F), Planned Area Development (PAD) Zone.43 44 The Commission discussed the application and what items should be included in the45 draft referral letter submitted to the Zoning Commission. They also discussed concerns46 submitted by the public.47 48 MOTION: Commissioner Haldeman made a motion, seconded by Commissioner49 Wilcox, that the Conservation Commission submits a neutral referral to the Zoning50 Commission with a referral letter outlining concerns by the Conservation Commission.51 52 The motion carried unanimously (5-0-0).53 54 IV. DESIGNATED AGENCT ACTIONS AND OTHER REPORTS55 56 Vice Chair Levy requested that the next meeting’s Agenda has a discussion on57 rodenticide.58 59 V.
