SELECTMEN ACTION13
14
a) Supplemental Appropriation – Hot Water Heaters at Simsbury Farms Clubhouse15
16
Mr. Tyburski gave a background on the current hot water heaters at the Farms clubhouse and17
how they were original to the 2002 construction. The current quote received was to replace as is18
but a vendor has stated the current system may be larger than needed. New quotes for a smaller19
system should come in under $10,000. Ms. Yeisley questioned if the new size is the correct size20
for the future of the building and not just the current state. Mr. Antonio gave his opinion from21
previous experience about the new quoted size and how the original seemed too large at first.22
23
The board discussed amending the motion in front of them to be “up to $10,000” instead of the24
$33,154.17 that was originally proposed.25
26
Ms. Yeisley made a motion effective June 15, 2026 to approve a supplemental appropriation in27
the amount of up to $10,000 for the purchase of new Hot Water Heating System for Simsbury28
Farms Golf Clubhouse and to recommend this to the Board of Finance. Mr. Looney seconded the29
motion. All were in favor and the motion passed.30
31
The Board of Selectmen and Town Manager adjourned to executive session pursuant to C.G.S 1-32
