MINUTES
MARCH 9, 2026
A meeting of the Juvenile Review Board was convened on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Meeting was called to order at 9:31 A.M. by Kristen Formanek, Chairwoman.
Present:
Kristen Formanek, Director of Community and Social Services
Meredith Brockbank, Social Worker, Simsbury High School
Kenneth Pera, Assistant Principal, Simsbury High School
Kevin Marano, Detective, Simsbury Police Department
Tom Tyburski, Director of Culture, Parks, and Recreation
Marc Bonaguide, LCSW, Local Provider
There were no public audience or comments.
Motion was made by Meredith Brockbank and seconded by Tom Tyburski to approve the
November 10, 2025 meeting minutes as presented. All present and voting in favor of the
motion. Motion carries.
Motion was made by Detective Marano and seconded by Ken Pera to move into
executive session to hear case #299, and to add case #291 for a brief review at 9:32. All
present and voting in favor of the motion. Motion carries.
Motion was made by Tom Tyburski and seconded by Detective Marano to adjourn the
hearing at 10:25 A.M. All present and voting in favor. Motion carries.
