Clerk at townclerk@simsbury-ct.gov up to 4:30pm on the day prior to the meeting.
1) Call to Order
2) Roll Call of Voting Members and Declaration of Quorum
3) Public Audience (comments will be limited to 5 minutes per speaker)
4) Approval of Minutes
a) Motion to approve the minutes of the December 4th, 2025 regular meeting and
December 11th, 2025 special meeting
5) Reports from Ex-Officio Members

7) New Business
i) Proposed amendments to 2026 goals (requires quorum of voting members):
(1) Capture full year’s newsletter efforts vs only the heat pump edition
(2) Incorporate existing workstream of consulting with/ supporting BOEd/ DPW/ BoS
on how they can achieve the solar goal endorsed in the Sustainability Plan Part 1:
Energy.
(3) Include goal to have the Sustainability Plan Part 2: Waste endorsed by BoS by
October 31st, 2026
ii) Identify subject matter experts to lead draft of Sustainability Plan Part 2: Waste
iii) Working group formation for building/ planning guidelines (public/ private)
iv) Kickoff work and volunteer recruitment for sustainability fair and solar charette
