Simsbury, CT July 11, 2017
The Simsbury Police Department worked with the State of Connecticut Department of Mental
Health and Addiction Services to conduct tobacco sale compliance checks on July 11, 2017. The
inspections were performed in an effort to determine compliance with state laws prohibiting the
sale of cigarettes, tobacco products and electronic cigarettes to anyone under age 18. The
following businesses were found to be in compliance during the checks:
• Cumberland Farms #4761- 151 Hopmeadow Street
• Simsbury Mobil- 404 Hopmeadow Street
• Pride Stores LLC- 518 Hopmeadow Street and 1340 Hopmeadow Street
• Gulf- 125 West Street
• T-Ville Wine & Spirits- 41 Main St
The following business was not in compliance during the inspection. The store clerk was issued
an infraction for the violation and the store licensee may face additional administrative sanctions.
