Pedestrian Motor Vehicle Accident
Simsbury, CT July 06, 2016
On Wednesday, July 06, 2016, at 12:09 PM, the Simsbury Police Department received a report
of a motor vehicle accident (involving a pedestrian) in the intersection of Drake Hill Road and
Iron Horse Boulevard. This was vehicle vs. pedestrian motor vehicle accident.
The adult female pedestrian was transported to St. Francis Hospital by the Simsbury Volunteer
Ambulance Association. She is currently in stable condition. The pedestrian has been identified
as Margaret Darcy from Massachusetts.
The vehicle operator is cooperating with the police investigation. The motor vehicle crash
remains under investigation by members of the Simsbury Police Department.
