Press Release – Fatality Investigation
Simsbury, CT November 21, 2014
The Simsbury Police Department is currently investigating the untimely death of a 54 year old
woman from Simsbury. Motorists located Melissa Millan lying on the paved portion of Iron
Horse Boulevard between Phelps Lane and Rotary Park around 8:04 PM on Thursday November
20, 2014. Police and ambulance personnel arrived and provided medical attention to her. She
was transported to St. Francis Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The circumstances
of her untimely death are under investigation.
