Fraud Alert
Simsbury, CT March 4, 2014
Simsbury Police is investigating several complaints from residents reporting that an automated
system representing Simsbury Bank is calling their homes in attempts to solicit account numbers.
The automated system states that there is a problem with their account and asks for account
information. Simsbury Bank has been notified of the calls and has issued a fraud alert on their
web site (http://www.simsburybank.com). Residents are advised not to give out their account
information if they receive this call and it is suggested that they simply hang up.
