Simsbury, CT August 22, 2013
On August 22, 2013 at approximately 9:10 PM, the Simsbury Police Department responded to
1225 Hopmeadow Street (Sunrise Convenience Store) for a report of a robbery. Upon police
arrival the employee reported that the store was robbed by a male holding a knife. This male left
the store with cash and left in an unknown vehicle.
This male has been described as a white or Hispanic male about 5’-4” tall, in his 30’s with a dark
mustache, wearing blue jeans, white shoes, black shirt and a tan baseball cap. The suspect also
has tattoos on both forearms and the right side of his neck.
The Simsbury Police Department is asking anyone with information about this incident to
