The Simsbury Police Department uses certified bicycle officers to supplement patrol activities in
the parks and recreational areas, the central section of town, schools, special events and the 7
miles of greenway through the Town. The officers also use the bike to promote general bicycle
safety through education and bike rodeos. In May 2012, the Fox family of Simsbury donated
two new police bicycles in support of the Department’s public safety efforts. Thank you to the
Fox family for their gracious donation!
