Simsbury, CT July 19, 2012
The Simsbury Police Department responded to 10C Wiggins Farm Road in
Simsbury on July 19, 2012 for an adult male who threatened to kill members of a
landscaping crew. The man barricaded himself in his home. Members of the
Simsbury Police Department evacuated occupants in the immediate area and the
North Central Emergency Services Team responded to assist. After numerous
attempts, a Simsbury Police Department member was able to talk the male into
coming outside. He was taken into custody without incident and provided
immediate medical care.
