Town Manager’s Report

Community & Social Services:
On December 19th, our Social Services department held their annual
Holiday Program, giving gifts to more than 111 children within our
community. Buddy the Elf even stopped by to help!
Our Food Pantry is moving to The First Church of Christ located
at 689 Hopmeadow Street! Mark your calendars for the first food
pantry food distribution event/Cheese Day at our new location on
February 18th. Stay tuned for more information on stock the
pantry “pop up” events and the pantry’s ribbon cutting ceremony.
Charter Revision Commission:
The Charter Revision Commission established their 2025 Regular
Meeting Schedule and has set the date for their first public hearing on
January 23rd at 6 P.M. in the Tariffville Room at the Simsbury Public
Library. Residents are encouraged to attend to have their input heard
and can email their Charter comments to charterrevision@simsbury-
ct.gov. Written correspondence will not be read into the record. For
Commission updates, check their page at www.simsbury-ct.gov/charter-revision-commission.
